Revenue Summary Report

Your Revenue Summary report gives you a complete snapshot of your event’s financial performance. View total revenue, breakdown by event, track trends over time, and identify your top-performing ticket categories — all in one place.

How to get there: Dashboard > Reports > Revenue Summary

  1. Open the Reports section from your main menu.
  2. Tap Revenue Summary to load your revenue data.
  3. Wait for the report to load — you’ll see key metrics appear at the top.

The screen displays five key metrics:

  • Total Revenue — All money collected in your selected period
  • Number of Transactions — How many ticket sales occurred
  • Average Transaction Value — Revenue ÷ Transaction count
  • Top Event — Which event generated the most revenue
  • Revenue Growth — Change from the previous period

How to get there: On the Revenue Summary report, locate the Filters section.

  1. Tap the Filters section to expand it.
  2. Select your Date Range — use presets (This Month, Last 30 Days) or pick custom dates.
  3. Choose Events from the dropdown — select one event or multiple events to compare.
  4. The report updates automatically to show only matching transactions.

Your Revenue Summary includes two interactive charts:

Revenue by Event (Pie Chart)

  • Shows which events generated the most revenue
  • Tap a slice to see the exact amount and percentage

Revenue Trend (Line Chart)

  • Displays daily revenue over your selected date range
  • Peaks show your busiest sales days — use this to plan promotions

How to get there: Scroll down on the Revenue Summary report.

The Breakdown Grid table shows:

  • Event Name — Which event the revenue came from
  • Ticket Category — Standard, VIP, Early Bird, etc.
  • Quantity Sold — Number of tickets in this category
  • Unit Price — Price per ticket
  • Total Revenue — Quantity × Unit Price
  • Payment Method — Cash, Card, UPI, Bank Transfer

Scroll left and right to see all columns. Tap a row to drill into that category’s details.

How to get there: On the Revenue Summary report, locate the Refresh button.

  1. Tap the Refresh button (circular arrow icon) in the controls section at the top.
  2. Or pull down anywhere on the report to trigger a refresh.
  3. The report updates to include any new transactions from the last few minutes.

Use this after you’ve just made a sale and want to confirm the numbers updated.

If you see “No revenue data available,” your filters are too strict. For example:

  • The date range doesn’t include any completed transactions
  • You selected an event that hasn’t sold tickets yet
  • The event hasn’t been finalized or published

How to fix it:

  1. Tap the Refresh button to reload.
  2. Expand Filters and adjust your date range to include earlier dates.
  3. Select different events or remove event filters entirely.

“My revenue numbers seem low” — Check your date range. If you selected “This Month” on the 5th, you’re only seeing 5 days of sales. Extend your date range or use “Last 30 Days” for a fuller picture.

“I see a transaction but it’s not in the breakdown grid” — Some payment statuses (pending, refunded) don’t count toward revenue. Check your payment settings to confirm the transaction is marked complete.

“The Refresh button isn’t updating my latest sale” — Newly completed transactions can take 30–60 seconds to appear. Wait a minute, then refresh again. If it still doesn’t appear, check the payment status in your transaction log.

“Charts look different on my phone vs. desktop” — On mobile, charts stack vertically. On desktop (width ≥ 700px), they appear side-by-side. This is normal — the data is the same.
