Editing a Guest’s Details
Section titled “Editing a Guest’s Details”Plans change, and guest lists change with them. This screen lets event organisers update a guest you have already added: their name, contact details, RSVP and anything else you captured when inviting them.
Open a guest for editing
Section titled “Open a guest for editing”How to get there: Dashboard > Your Event > Guests > tap a guest > Edit
- Open the event you’re working on from your dashboard.
- Tap Guests to see your full guest list.
- Tap the guest you want to change.
- Tap Edit to open their details.
- Wait a moment while the guest’s saved details load.
The heading greets you with the guest’s first name, for example Update Priya, so you can be sure you opened the right person before you start typing.
Update the details and save
Section titled “Update the details and save”- Tap any field you want to change.
- Edit the existing text, or clear it and enter the new value.
- Correct the phone number if it has changed, including the
+91country code. - Update the RSVP or attendance details if the guest has confirmed or dropped out.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The spinner keeps turning and details never appear - The guest’s details are still being fetched. Check your mobile data or Wi-Fi, then go back and open the guest again.
“No guest found” - This guest is no longer on the event’s list, usually because they were removed on another device. Go back to your guest list and add them again if needed.
An error message appears instead of the form - Something went wrong while loading. Go back, reopen the guest, and try again once you have a stable connection.
The heading says “Update Guest” instead of a name - The details had not loaded yet, or the guest has no first name saved. Add a first name and save so the guest is easy to identify later.
My changes did not stick - Changes only apply once you tap Save. If you leave the screen or use the back gesture first, your edits are discarded.
Duplicate guests appear after editing - You likely edited one entry while a second copy of the same person existed from an earlier import. Remove the extra entry from the guest list.
