Manage User Profile and Account Settings

Keep your name, photo, status, password, and privacy choices up to date so other attendees recognize you and your account stays secure.

  • You need to be signed in. If you have not created an account yet, start with Onboarding and sign-in.
  • Any attendee or community member can edit their own profile, change their password, and manage face recognition.
  • Organizer-only extras (organization details, membership plans) appear only if your account has organizer or group owner rights.
  • To add or change a photo you will be asked for permission to your photo library or camera. Face recognition also asks for your device screen lock, fingerprint, or face unlock.
  1. Open your profile. Your profile shows your photo, display name, online status, and the settings you control. This is the page other people see a read-only version of, so what you set here is what they will recognize in chats and event feeds.

  2. Add or change your photo. Tap your picture and choose Add photo or Change photo to pick an image from your library. The app shrinks and compresses it for you, so a normal phone photo is fine. Once a photo exists you can also View photo full screen or Remove photo, which asks you to confirm before clearing it.

  3. Update your name and status. Choose Edit Name to change how you appear everywhere in the app. You can also set a custom status with an emoji and a short line of text, which sits under your name so people know whether you are at a session, travelling, or away.

  4. Set your notification and privacy preferences. Turn push and email notifications on or off independently, and use the privacy options to control who can see your details and photos. Changes save as you make them.

  5. Change your password. Open Change Password, enter your Current Password, then your New Password twice. The new password must match in both fields before the Change Password button will submit. You stay signed in afterwards.

  6. Decide about face recognition. The Face Recognition page explains what it does: it lets the app find you in group photos and event albums. It shows one of three states - no face data on file, active, or off. Choose to enrol, and you will confirm with your device unlock, take or upload a clear selfie, then tick the consent box confirming you accept that your selfie will be used to recognize you in photos. You can come back later to view your stored face data, replace it, or switch recognition off.

  7. Organizers only: fill in your organization profile. If you run events, your organizer profile holds your company name, website, description, address, timezone, and the event types you host. Save requires a name, at least one event type, and a description of 500 characters or less. You can also activate or deactivate the organization, and create or edit membership plans with pricing, duration, and renewal settings.

The photo will not upload. Check that you allowed photo library access when prompted; if you declined, re-enable it in your device settings. If the upload fails with an error message, you are usually on a weak connection - try again on stronger Wi-Fi. Very large or unusual image formats can also fail; a standard JPEG or PNG works best.

My bio or description will not save. The organizer description is capped at 500 characters and the name at 100. If Save does nothing, scroll up: the field that is too long or left empty is marked with the error.

A notification toggle snaps back. Reopen the profile page to refresh it. Both push and email settings are saved together, so flipping one should never clear the other.

Face recognition will not turn on. You must both pass the device unlock check and tick the consent box. Cancelling the consent step stops setup with nothing saved, and you will need to start again. If your device has no fingerprint, face unlock, or passcode set up, add one in your device settings first.

Someone is bothering me. Open their profile and choose Block. You can unblock from the same screen at any time.
