Browsing the Lions Club Photo Gallery

The Gallery collects photo albums from your club’s service projects, events and celebrations, organised so anyone can find a specific year or type of activity in seconds.

Note

The gallery is a public, view-only space. Albums appear here once the club publishes them, so there is nothing you need to set up first.

How to get there: Club Home > Gallery

1. Open Gallery from the club menu.
2. Scroll down past the filter bar to the album grid.
3. Read each album card for its name, year and activity type.

Albums display two per row on a phone and three per row on a tablet or desktop, so the same page works whether you are showing photos to a member on your phone or projecting them at a meeting.

Tip

Before an annual report or an installation ceremony, scroll the full grid once. It is the fastest way to spot a project you forgot to mention.

Narrowing the list with filters

How to get there: Club Home > Gallery > filter bar

1. Tap the Year dropdown at the top of the page.
2. Select a year, such as 2024, to see only albums from that year.
3. Tap the Type dropdown next to it.
4. Select an activity type to narrow the list further.
5. Choose All in either dropdown to clear that filter.

Both filters work together. Picking a year and a type shows only the albums that match both, which is handy when you want, say, a single year’s health camps rather than every camp the club has run.

Tip

Planning a Diwali sewa drive or a wedding-season blood donation camp? Filter to the same activity type from last year first. Past albums are the quickest reminder of turnout, banner placement and who volunteered.

After you find the albums you need, most organisers:

• For an upcoming event: Review last year’s project details
• For a report or newsletter: Check the events calendar

Opening an album

How to get there: Club Home > Gallery > any album card

1. Tap an album card in the grid.
2. View the full set of photos inside that album.
3. Use your device’s back gesture or button to return to the grid.

Your filter selections stay as you left them when you come back, so you can work through several albums from one year without reselecting anything.

Caution

Filters reset to All if you leave the gallery entirely and return later. Reapply them if you were partway through a review.

Troubleshooting

“No albums found” - Your Year and Type filters have no album in common. Set one of them back to All and try again.

A year is missing from the Year dropdown - The dropdown only lists years that actually have albums. If a year is absent, nothing has been published for it yet.

An album opens but looks empty - Photos for that album are still being added. Check back later or ask your club’s gallery coordinator.

Photos load slowly on mobile data - Albums contain full-resolution images. Switch to Wi-Fi before a long browsing session, especially at a venue with weak signal.

Tapping a card does nothing - A slow connection can delay the album from opening. Wait a moment before tapping again, since repeated taps can queue up and skip you past the album.
