How to Change Your Password
Section titled “How to Change Your Password”Your password keeps your Velora account and event data secure. If you want to update your password or think someone else knows it, you can change it anytime from your account settings.
Change Your Password
Section titled “Change Your Password”How to get there: Dashboard > Settings > Change Password
- Tap Change Password from your account settings menu.
- Enter your Current Password in the first field - this confirms it’s really you.
- Create a New Password that’s at least 8 characters long and includes uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
- Type the new password again in Confirm New Password to make sure you didn’t mistype it.
- Tap Change Password to save your new password.
You’ll see a loading spinner while the system processes the change. Once it completes, your new password takes effect immediately.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Current Password is incorrect”: You may have entered your old password incorrectly. Double-check that Caps Lock isn’t on and try again. If you forget your current password, use the password reset feature instead.
“New Password doesn’t meet requirements”: Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Try something like MyEvent2024! or Diwali@Velora99.
“Passwords don’t match”: Your new password and confirmation don’t match exactly. Type them both slowly and check for typos, then try again.
“Change Password button is greyed out”: Make sure you’ve filled in all three fields (current password, new password, and confirmation). Each field is required.
“The screen shows a loading spinner but nothing happens: The app is waiting for the server to process your request. This usually takes a few seconds. If it takes more than 30 seconds, check your internet connection and try again.
