Community Dashboard
Community Dashboard
Section titled “Community Dashboard”The Community Dashboard is the central control panel for your community. It gives you a bird’s-eye view of everything happening — new members joining, upcoming events, sub-communities, and celebrations — all on one screen.
How to Get There
Section titled “How to Get There”Home > Communities > [Your Community]
- Open the Velora app and navigate to the Communities List.
- Tap on any community you manage or belong to.
- The Community Dashboard loads with all widgets.
Dashboard Header
Section titled “Dashboard Header”The header shows:
- Back button to return to the Communities List
- Community name and description
- Community logo (profile image)
- Tap the logo or name area to go to the Community Profile
Dashboard Widgets
Section titled “Dashboard Widgets”The dashboard is organised into a series of widget cards. On mobile, these stack vertically. On tablet and desktop (600dp+), they arrange in a two-column grid layout.
1. Welcome New Members
Section titled “1. Welcome New Members”Highlights recent members who have joined the community. This card helps admins:
- See who joined recently
- Send a welcome message
- Verify new member profiles
2. Sub-Communities
Section titled “2. Sub-Communities”Shows all sub-communities (chapters, wings, cells) under this community. Each sub-community card displays:
- Name and description
- Member count
- Quick-tap to navigate into the sub-community’s own dashboard
Use sub-communities to organise regional chapters (Bhilwara Chapter, Jaipur Chapter), functional wings (Healthcare Wing, Cultural Events), or interest groups (Yoga & Wellness, Music Circle).
3. Monthly Event Timeline
Section titled “3. Monthly Event Timeline”A visual timeline of celebrations and events happening this month. Includes:
- Birthdays of community members
- Anniversaries
- Special observances
- Community milestones
4. Birthday Template Card
Section titled “4. Birthday Template Card”Quick-create birthday greetings for community members whose birthday is this month. Tap to generate and send a personalised birthday wish.
5. Events Preview
Section titled “5. Events Preview”Shows the next 3 upcoming events for this community, sorted by start date. Each event card displays:
- Event name
- Date and time
- Quick-tap to view event details or manage the event

Pull to Refresh
Section titled “Pull to Refresh”Swipe down anywhere on the dashboard to reload all data — new members, events, celebrations, and sub-communities refresh simultaneously.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The dashboard shows a “Failed to load data” error. Check your internet connection and tap the Reload button in the error message. All dashboard widgets load in parallel, so a network issue affects the entire dashboard.
New members card is empty. No new members have joined recently. The card shows members who joined within the last 30 days.
Events preview shows no events. The community does not have any upcoming events. Create a new event and link it to this community to see it here.
Sub-communities section is empty. No sub-communities exist under this community yet. If the community settings allow sub-communities, create one from the sub-communities section.
