Browsing Your Event Gallery
Section titled “Browsing Your Event Gallery”Every photo and video from your event lives in one place. Open the gallery to scroll through the full collection, then tap anything to view it full screen.
Opening the Gallery
Section titled “Opening the Gallery”How to get there: Dashboard > Your Event > Gallery
- Open your event from the dashboard.
- Scroll to the media section of the event page.
- Tap See all to open the full Gallery.
The gallery separates your media into two labelled sections: Photos with a count, then Videos with a count. So if your Diwali party has 84 photos and 6 clips, you see Photos (84) and Videos (6) as you scroll.
Viewing a Photo or Video Full Screen
Section titled “Viewing a Photo or Video Full Screen”How to get there: Dashboard > Your Event > Gallery
- Scroll to the item you want in the three-across grid.
- Tap the thumbnail.
- Swipe left or right to move through the rest of the section.
- Tap the back arrow to return to the grid.
Because photos and videos are grouped separately, swiping inside a photo stays among photos, and swiping inside a video stays among videos.
Spotting Videos in the Grid
Section titled “Spotting Videos in the Grid”How to get there: Dashboard > Your Event > Gallery
- Look for the play symbol in the centre of a tile: that tile is a video.
- Check the small badge in the bottom-right corner for the length, shown as minutes and seconds.
- Tap the tile to play it.
Video tiles take a moment to prepare their preview image. Until then you may see a plain tile with a play symbol, and the length may briefly show as dots or 0:00.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“The gallery is empty” - No photos or videos have been added to this event yet. Add media to the event, and the Photos and Videos sections appear automatically.
“A tile shows a broken-image symbol” - That file could not be loaded, usually because of a weak connection or a file that did not upload fully. Move to better signal and reopen the gallery. If it stays broken, re-add that file to the event.
“A tile spins forever” - The image is still downloading. On venue wifi this can be slow with large files. Wait a few seconds, or reopen the gallery once you have a stronger connection.
“A video shows 0:00 as its length” - Velora could not read the clip’s length, which happens with some formats or partly uploaded files. The video still plays when you tap it, so check it that way.
“A video has no preview image, just a play symbol” - The preview is still being generated, or the format does not support one. Tap the tile to play it as normal.
“Videos show no length on the web version” - Clip lengths are read on the mobile app. Open the gallery on your phone or tablet to see them.
