Invitation

Your invitation is where every part of an event comes to life: the video or image card the host designed, plus the date, time, and venue for each function. Guests use this screen to know exactly where to be and when.

How to get there: Dashboard > Invitations

  1. Open Velora on your phone or in your browser.
  2. Tap Invitations to see events you’ve been invited to.
  3. Select the event you want to view.
  4. Wait a moment for the invitation cards to load.

The header shows the event name, and the cards below show each function you’re invited to.

Invitations for weddings, festivals, and college fests are grouped by day, so a three-day celebration appears as Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3.

  1. Scroll down to move from one day to the next.
  2. Read the heading for each group to confirm which day you’re looking at.
  3. Check each card for its own date, time, and venue.

Two functions on the same day, such as a morning keynote and an evening reception, appear as separate cards under the same day heading.

Some invitation cards are designed as short videos, others as still images.

  1. Tap the card you want to see in detail.
  2. For a video invitation, tap the play control to start it.
  3. Tap again to pause if you want to read something on screen.
  4. Go back to return to the full list of functions.
  1. Note the date and time shown on the card.
  2. Note the venue name on the second line.
  3. Compare timings across cards if two functions fall close together.

“No invitations yet” - The host hasn’t shared the invitation with your number or email yet. Check with them that the contact details on your guest entry match the ones you signed in with.

“Unable to load invitation” - This is usually a weak connection. Switch to Wi-Fi or move to better signal, then pull down to refresh.

Video won’t play - Large video invitations need a stable connection to start. Wait a few seconds, or try again on Wi-Fi. If it still stalls, the image details on the card carry the same date, time, and venue.

A function you expected is missing - The host may not have added that day yet, or you may be invited only to specific functions. Ask the host to confirm which days your invitation covers.

Timings look wrong - You may be viewing a cached copy. Close and reopen the invitation to pull the latest version from the host.
