Ticket Loading Screen
Ticket Loading Screen
Section titled “Ticket Loading Screen”When you open a Velora event ticket link (shared via WhatsApp, email, or social media), a loading screen appears briefly while the app fetches event details and prepares the checkout experience.
How to Get There
Section titled “How to Get There”Tap an event ticket link (e.g., velora.events/p/diwali-mela-2026)
- Receive an event link from an organizer or friend.
- Tap the link on your phone or open it in a browser.
- The loading screen appears with the message “Loading tickets…” and a ticket icon animation.
- Within a few seconds, you are automatically redirected to the Checkout Screen where you can select tickets and pay.
What Happens Behind the Scenes
Section titled “What Happens Behind the Scenes”The loading screen performs three tasks automatically:
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| 1. Fetch RSVP config | Loads the RSVP state configuration (Accept, Maybe, Decline options) |
| 2. Fetch event details | Retrieves the event by its link alias - name, date, ticket batches, payment settings |
| 3. Navigate to checkout | Opens the checkout screen with all ticket batches, pricing, and RSVP options pre-loaded |
You do not need to take any action during loading. The screen transitions automatically.
Free vs. Paid Events
Section titled “Free vs. Paid Events”The loading screen detects whether the event has free or paid tickets:
- Free event: All ticket batches have a price of Rs 0. The checkout screen shows a simplified RSVP flow.
- Paid event: At least one batch has a price above Rs 0. The checkout screen shows the full cart, pricing, and payment options.
What to Do Next
Section titled “What to Do Next”| Task | Where to go |

Related Articles
Section titled “Related Articles”Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The loading screen is stuck and does not redirect. Check your internet connection. If loading takes more than 15 seconds, close the app and tap the link again. The event link may also be expired or invalid.
I see an “Event not found” error. The event may have been deleted, unpublished, or the link alias may be incorrect. Contact the organizer for an updated link.
I see an error message and get sent back to the home screen. The event data could not be loaded. This may happen if the backend is temporarily unavailable. Wait a minute and try the link again.
The link opens in a browser instead of the app. If you have the Velora app installed, the link should open directly in the app. If it opens in a browser instead, you can still complete the checkout on the web version.
