Your Community Dashboard
Section titled “Your Community Dashboard”Your community dashboard is the home screen for a community on Velora. It brings together your membership, upcoming events, new members, celebrations, and any chapters (sub-communities) in one scrollable view.
Getting Around the Dashboard
Section titled “Getting Around the Dashboard”How to get there: Home > your community
- Open your community from the home tab.
- Read the community name and description at the top.
- Tap Members to see everyone in the community.
- Tap Community Info to see full details such as description and settings.
- Tap Chat to open the community’s group conversation.
Checking Your Membership
Section titled “Checking Your Membership”How to get there: Community dashboard > Membership
- Scroll to the membership card near the top.
- Check your membership status and the community it belongs to.
- Follow the prompt on the card if any detail is missing or needs renewing.
Seeing Who Just Joined
Section titled “Seeing Who Just Joined”How to get there: Community dashboard > New Members
- Scroll to the new members card.
- Tap a name to view that member’s profile.
- Welcome them in the community chat.
Working With Upcoming Events
Section titled “Working With Upcoming Events”How to get there: Community dashboard > Events
- Scroll to the events card. Your next few events appear in date order.
- Tap an event to open its full details, agenda, and guest list.
- Pull down on the dashboard to refresh if you have just added an event.
Celebrations and Birthdays
Section titled “Celebrations and Birthdays”How to get there: Community dashboard > This Month
- Scroll to the monthly timeline to see birthdays and anniversaries coming up.
- If you are an admin or organiser, scroll to the birthday greetings card.
- Pick a greeting template and share it with the member.
Exploring and Creating Chapters
Section titled “Exploring and Creating Chapters”How to get there: Community dashboard > Chapters
- Scroll to the chapters section to see sub-communities such as city chapters or batch groups.
- Tap a chapter to open its own dashboard, with its own events and members.
- Tap Join on a chapter you are not part of yet.
- Tap View All to browse the full list.
- If you are an admin or organiser, tap the create option to start a new chapter.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Nothing loads and the spinner keeps turning” - The dashboard is still fetching your community. Check your connection, then pull down to refresh.
“My new event is not in the events card” - Only the next few events by date appear here. Pull down to refresh, and open the full events list to see everything.
“The birthday greetings and chapter overview cards are missing” - These appear only for admins and organisers. Ask an existing admin to update your role.
“The community name or description is out of date” - The dashboard syncs the latest details shortly after opening. Pull down to refresh, or reopen the community.
“I cannot see a chapter’s events” - You need to join the chapter first. Tap the chapter, then tap Join.
“Member count looks wrong” - Pull down to refresh. Counts update after pending join requests are approved.
