View Your Organiser Profile
Section titled “View Your Organiser Profile”Your organiser profile is the public face of your event business on Velora. This is what attendees, vendors, and collaborators see when they look you up. This guide walks you through every section of the profile screen.
How to Get There
Section titled “How to Get There”Home > Profile tab > Organizations > Tap your organisation name
Profile Layout
Section titled “Profile Layout”The organiser profile screen has three main sections arranged vertically:
1. Cover Area and Organisation Card
Section titled “1. Cover Area and Organisation Card”At the top you see:
- Cover image — a wide banner photo that represents your organisation. If no cover photo is uploaded, a gradient placeholder with a building icon appears.
- Back button — a circular button in the top-left corner (over the cover image) to return to the previous screen.
Overlapping the bottom of the cover image is a glass-effect card that contains:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Profile photo | A circular image showing your logo or photo. Falls back to a building icon if none is uploaded. |
| Edit Profile button | Tappable button that navigates to the edit screen |
| Share button | A link icon to copy or share your organiser profile |
| Company name | Your organisation’s company name (displayed prominently) |
| Organiser name | Your individual name or brand name |
| Location | City and state extracted from your contact address |
| Description | A brief bio with expandable “Show more” / “Show less” toggle for longer descriptions |
2. Contact Card
Section titled “2. Contact Card”Below the organisation card, the contact section shows your address information:
- Location icon with your billing address
- Detailed address (address line 1, city, state) shown as secondary text
This card only appears if you have entered at least one address field. If both billing address and contact address are empty, this section is hidden.
3. Organiser Info Card
Section titled “3. Organiser Info Card”The bottom card shows key business details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Status | Active or Inactive, with a toggle switch to change it |
| Timezone | Your operating timezone |
| Website | Your company website (tappable — opens in browser) |

- Scroll to the Organiser Info card at the bottom.
- Find the Status row with the Active/Inactive label and toggle switch.
- Tap the toggle to change your status.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The profile screen shows a loading spinner that never stops. Check your internet connection. If connectivity is fine, tap the back button and navigate to the profile again. If the issue persists, sign out and sign back in.
I toggled the status but it did not change. The status toggle requires a server response. If your connection drops during the toggle, the status may not update. Pull down to refresh the page and check the current status. Try again if needed.
My description is cut off and I do not see “Show more”. The “Show more” link only appears when your description exceeds two lines of text. If your description is short enough to fit in two lines, it is displayed in full.
The website link does not open. Make sure your website URL is correctly entered in your profile. Velora automatically adds “https://” if your URL does not start with it. Check for typos in the URL by going to Edit Profile.
The cover image looks blurry. Upload a higher-resolution image. The recommended cover image size is at least 1920 x 1080 pixels. Images smaller than this may appear stretched or pixelated on larger screens.
