Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“I archived something by mistake”: No problem! Go to the Archived tab and unarchive it immediately using the swipe or long-press method. All messages are preserved, and it returns to your active list.
“I can’t find an old conversation”: If it’s been archived, check the Archived tab. If it’s missing entirely, it may have been deleted by someone with admin permissions. Check your event’s activity log for details.
“The archived list is loading but nothing appears”: Try pulling down to refresh the list. If it still seems stuck, close the app completely and reopen it. The app will reload all archived conversations from the server.
“I opened an archived conversation but it’s still showing as archived”: This is expected behavior. Opening a conversation doesn’t automatically unarchive it. Use the Unarchive option from the long-press menu to move it back to your active chat list.
“Swipe to unarchive doesn’t work”: Make sure you’re swiping left (from right to left) on the conversation tile. The unarchive icon should appear on the right side with an upward arrow.
