Gallery Layout
Section titled “Gallery Layout”The Photo Gallery (Gallery Hub) has three main sections:
Quick-Action Cards
Section titled “Quick-Action Cards”At the top of the gallery, two action cards sit side by side, followed by a third:
| Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Photos of Me | Opens a dedicated view of photos where your face has been recognised (requires face recognition to be enabled) |
| Favourite Albums | Shows albums you have marked as favourites from events |
| Ongoing Events I’m Connected To | Lists events you are currently attending or connected to, with quick access to their photo albums |
Tap any card to navigate to that specific view.
Photo Count Badge
Section titled “Photo Count Badge”Next to the “Photos” heading, a coloured badge shows the total number of photos in your gallery. This gives you a quick sense of how many memories Velora has collected for you.

- Today — photos from today’s events
- Yesterday — photos from yesterday
- Older dates — displayed as formatted dates (e.g., “Mar 15, 2026”)
Within each date group, photos are arranged in a responsive grid:

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The gallery shows “No photos yet! Attend events and get clicked.” This means Velora has not collected any photos for your account yet. This happens if you have not attended events where photographers uploaded photos, or if face recognition is not enabled. Attend an event and ensure the photographer is using Velora.
Photos are loading slowly. Photo thumbnails are optimised for quick loading, but large galleries may take a moment on slower connections. Scroll slowly to allow images to load. On Wi-Fi, the experience is typically instant.
“Photos of Me” shows no results even though I attended an event. Check that face recognition is enabled. Also, the event photographer needs to have uploaded photos to Velora for the recognition to work. Ask the event organiser if photos have been uploaded.
I see an error message instead of my photos. Pull down to refresh the gallery. If the error persists, check your internet connection. If you see a specific error message, note it down and contact Velora support for help.
Photos from a past event are not appearing. Some events have privacy settings that restrict photo visibility to certain time periods or attendee groups. If you attended the event but do not see photos, the organiser may have restricted access. Contact the event organiser for clarification.
