Purchase Status

When you complete a payment for an event ticket or pass on Velora, this screen tracks your payment confirmation and ticket generation in real time. It shows you exactly where your payment stands and when your tickets are ready.

How to get there: Complete checkout → Payment gateway → This screen appears automatically

This screen activates right after you complete payment. You’ll see:

  1. Your event name in the header — confirms you’re tracking the right event
  2. A status card showing your payment progress — either “Payment Processing,” “Generating Tickets,” or “Ready to Download”
  3. Real-time updates — the card refreshes as the system generates your ticket

The screen monitors two separate backend processes:

  • Payment verification — the gateway confirms your payment succeeded
  • Ticket generation — our system creates your personalized QR code and ticket file

How to get there: Wait for the status card to show “Payment Successful” → Tap Continue

Once your tickets generate (usually within 30–60 seconds):

  1. Your status card shows a checkmark and Payment Successful message
  2. Tap the Continue button
  3. You’re taken to a confirmation page where you can:
    • Download your ticket as a PDF — save it to your phone or print it
    • Share your ticket — forward the PDF to guests or via messaging apps
    • Receive via WhatsApp — request a WhatsApp message with your ticket link

How to get there: Payment gateway returns an error status → This screen shows the failure message

If the payment gateway (Razorpay, CCAvenue, or Cashfree) reports that your payment did not complete:

  1. You’ll see an error icon and the message “Payment Not Completed”
  2. The explanation tells you why (insufficient funds, card declined, timeout, etc.)
  3. Tap Back to Event to return to the event page
  4. Try purchasing again with a different payment method

How to get there: Status card shows “Generating Tickets” → Wait up to 5 minutes

Ticket generation usually completes in seconds, but can take up to 5 minutes if the system is under heavy load (e.g., during a flash sale or Diwali event rush):

  1. Do not close the app or refresh the browser — this doesn’t speed up ticket generation
  2. Keep the screen open — it polls the backend every few seconds for updates
  3. If 5 minutes pass with no update, the screen shows a fallback message: “We’re working on your ticket”
  4. You’ll receive your ticket via WhatsApp at the phone number you provided during checkout

“Payment Not Completed” but I was charged — Your bank or UPI provider may have deducted the amount before the payment gateway connection failed. Check your bank statement. The charge will reverse within 3–5 business days. If not, contact the event organizer with your transaction ID (visible on your bank statement).

Tickets arrived via WhatsApp but the link expired — WhatsApp ticket links are valid for 7 days. If yours expired, return to the event page and download a fresh copy from your order history, or contact the event organizer’s support number.

Screen is stuck on “Generating Tickets” after 10 minutes — Close the app completely and reopen it. Go to your event and check “My Tickets” or “My Passes” — your ticket may have already been delivered. If not, contact the organizer; there may be a backend issue.

I didn’t receive a WhatsApp message — Check your phone number was entered correctly during checkout. Ask the event organizer to resend it, or download your ticket from the event page under “Order History.”

The QR code won’t scan at the venue — Make sure your phone brightness is at maximum and the QR code fills most of the scanner’s frame. Try screenshot + print as a backup, or ask the venue staff to manually check your name on the guest list.
