Group Chat

Group chats keep everyone working on your event in one place: family, vendors, volunteers, and your core planning team. Share updates, run quick polls, and jump on a call without leaving the conversation.

How to get there: Dashboard > Connect > tap a group

  1. Tap the message box at the bottom and type your update.
  2. Type @ followed by a name to tag someone, then pick them from the list.
  3. Tap Send.

The header shows the group name, who is in it, how many members are online, and who is typing right now. Tap the group name any time to open group info and members.

How to get there: Dashboard > Connect > tap a group > attachment button

  1. Tap the attachment button next to the message box.
  2. Choose a Photo, Video, Audio, or Document.
  3. Wait for the upload progress to finish - the file posts to the group automatically.
  4. To send your location, choose Location, then pick a spot or share live.

Live location keeps updating for the duration you choose. A banner stays on screen while you are sharing, and you can stop it at any time.

To record a voice note instead, press and hold the microphone in the message box.

How to get there: Dashboard > Connect > tap a group > attachment button > Poll

  1. Tap the attachment button and choose Poll.
  2. Enter your question, such as Sangeet on 14th or 15th?.
  3. Add your options.
  4. Turn on multiple choice or anonymous voting if you want them.
  5. Tap Create.

Members vote straight from the chat bubble. Tap a poll to see who voted (unless it is anonymous). As the poll creator, you can close or delete it once you have your answer.
