Channel Members
Managing Channel Members
Section titled “Managing Channel Members”The Members screen lets you see everyone in a chat channel and control who can access it. You can add new members, remove people who shouldn’t be there, and see their roles at a glance - perfect when you’re coordinating vendors, guests, or your core planning team.
View All Channel Members
Section titled “View All Channel Members”How to get there: Chat > Select a channel > Members icon
- Open any chat channel
- Tap the Members icon (person silhouette) in the top-right corner
- You’ll see a complete list of everyone in the channel with their name, role, and online status
Add a New Member to the Channel
Section titled “Add a New Member to the Channel”How to get there: Chat > Select a channel > Members > + Add icon
- Tap the + Add button (person with plus sign) at the top-right
- The Add Member sheet will slide up from the bottom
- Search for the person by name or scroll through your contacts
- Tap the person’s name to add them
- You’ll see a confirmation message when they’re added
Remove a Member from the Channel
Section titled “Remove a Member from the Channel”How to get there: Chat > Select a channel > Members
- Find the member you want to remove in the list
- Tap the ⋮ (three dots) menu on the right side of their name
- Select Remove
- A confirmation dialog will appear - tap Remove again to confirm
- The member is immediately removed and can no longer see the channel
Refresh the Member List
Section titled “Refresh the Member List”How to get there: Chat > Select a channel > Members
- Pull down from the top of the member list (like refreshing a message thread)
- The list will refresh to show the latest member updates and online status changes
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Failed to add member”: The person might already be in the channel, or there’s a network issue. Check your internet connection and try again.
“Failed to remove member”: You might not have permission to remove this person (only admins can remove members). Ask your channel admin for help.
“No members found”: The channel is empty or still loading. Wait a moment and tap Retry, or check that you’re in the right channel.
Member appears offline but was just active: Online status updates with a slight delay. Refresh the list to see the latest status.

| Someone needs to leave early (like after vendor finalizing) | Remove them from the channel |
