Enhanced Loading

The Enhanced Loading Screen is what you see when Velora starts up. It checks your login status, loads your settings, and gets you to the right part of the app - whether that’s your events, vendor directory, or community page. Think of it as the app’s “getting ready” moment before you can start managing your event.

How to get there: The Enhanced Loading Screen appears automatically every time you open Velora.

When the app starts, several things happen behind the scenes:

  1. Your login is verified: Velora checks if you’re still logged in and can access your account.
  2. Your data loads: The app fetches your events, vendor contacts, and other saved information.
  3. Policy updates are checked: If Velora’s terms or privacy policies have changed, you’ll be asked to accept them before continuing.
  4. App updates are evaluated: If there’s a new version available, you’ll see an update prompt (either required or optional).
  5. Your last location is remembered: Velora takes you back to the page you were viewing last time, or shows you your default tab.

How to get there: This happens automatically if the app is stuck on the loading screen.

If the loading screen doesn’t progress after 10 seconds, Velora automatically redirects you to the login screen as a safety measure. This prevents the app from freezing indefinitely.

What to do:

  1. Close and reopen Velora: Force-quit the app and launch it again.
  2. Check your internet connection: Make sure you have WiFi or mobile data enabled.
  3. Try logging in again: If you’re taken to the login screen, re-enter your credentials.

How to get there: The offline mode badge appears automatically if you’re using Velora without an active internet connection.

If you see the Offline Mode label with a cloud-off icon, you’re in offline mode. This is useful for viewing event details before you go to a venue without service, but you can’t create new events or update guest lists.

Seeing an error on login screenTroubleshoot login issues

“Loading…” appears but doesn’t finish: Your internet connection may be unstable, or Velora’s servers may be experiencing issues. Wait 10–15 seconds (the app will auto-redirect). If it persists, close the app, check your internet, and reopen.

“Offline Mode” appears but I have internet: Your phone may have lost connection briefly. Try toggling airplane mode off and back on, or reconnect to WiFi to sync with Velora’s servers.

I’m taken to the login screen every time I open the app: Your session has expired (this happens after extended periods of inactivity). Log in again with your email and password. You’ll then be taken back to where you left off.

I see a policy acceptance screen I’ve already accepted: Velora’s policies were updated. Read the changes and accept again to proceed. This is a one-time action per update.

App update dialog won’t close: If it’s marked “Required,” you must update from your app store before continuing. If it’s “Optional,” tap Not Now or update at your convenience.
