Task List
Section titled “Task List”The Task List is your operational command centre for event planning. It shows all tasks for an event (or across all events) with search, filters, status badges, assignee avatars, and quick actions.
How to Get There
Section titled “How to Get There”Event Dashboard > Tasks or Organiser > Tasks
- From the Event Dashboard, tap Tasks to see tasks for that specific event.
- Or navigate to Organiser > Tasks to see all your tasks across events.
Screen Layout
Section titled “Screen Layout”1. Search Bar
Section titled “1. Search Bar”Type to search across task names. Results filter in real-time as you type.
2. Filter Bottom Sheet
Section titled “2. Filter Bottom Sheet”Tap the filter icon to open a bottom sheet with:
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Status | Filter by task state (To Do, In Progress, Done, etc.) based on your configured workflow states |
| Assignee | Show only tasks assigned to specific team members |
| Include Me | Toggle to show only tasks assigned to you |
Active filters appear as chips below the search bar. Tap Clear to remove all filters.
3. Task Cards
Section titled “3. Task Cards”Each task appears as a card showing:

| Task Name | The task title |
| Due Date | Formatted as “Today, 2:30 PM”, “Tomorrow”, or “Apr 15, 2026” |
| Priority Badge | Colour-coded priority indicator (Low, Medium, High, Urgent) |
| Status Badge | Current workflow state |
| Assignee Avatars | Profile pictures or initials of assigned team members |
| Subtask Progress | Count of completed vs. total subtasks |
| Attachment Indicator | Shows if files are attached to the task |
Tap any task card to open it for editing.
4. Floating Action Button (+)
Section titled “4. Floating Action Button (+)”Tap the + button at the bottom-right to create a new task. If you are viewing tasks within an event context, the new task is automatically linked to that event.
Filtering Tasks
Section titled “Filtering Tasks”By Status
Section titled “By Status”- Tap the filter icon next to the search bar.
- In the bottom sheet, select the Status tab.
- Check the statuses you want to see (e.g., “In Progress” and “Overdue”).
- Tap Apply.
By Assignee
Section titled “By Assignee”- Open the filter bottom sheet.
- Select the Assignee tab.
- Choose team members from the list.
- Tap Apply.
Quick Filter: My Tasks
Section titled “Quick Filter: My Tasks”Toggle Include Me in the filter sheet to show only tasks assigned to you — useful when you are part of a large planning team.
Pull-to-Refresh
Section titled “Pull-to-Refresh”Swipe down on the task list to refresh and fetch the latest task data from the server.
What to Do Next

|---|---|
| No tasks appear | Ensure you have created tasks for this event. Tap the + button to create your first task. Also check that filters are not hiding tasks. |
| Filter is not clearing | Tap the Clear Filters button. If the issue persists, pull-to-refresh the task list. |
| Subtask count seems wrong | Subtask progress reflects what is saved on the server. If you made changes offline, they may not be reflected until the task syncs. |
| Due date shows “No Due Date” | The task was created without a deadline. Edit the task to add a due date. |
| Loading spinner does not stop | Pull-to-refresh or navigate away and come back. Check your internet connection. |
