Browse and Manage Event Media and Galleries

Find the photos you appear in from events you attended, relive them album by album, and - when you have the right access - build and share albums of your own.

Before you start

• You need to be signed in with the account you used to register for or attend the event.
• Photos of you only appear after an event’s organizer or photographers have uploaded them and the app has matched your face to them. This can take a while after an event ends.
• Creating albums for an event requires organizer access. Attendees can still add photos to an album when its upload setting allows it.
• Album controls are unavailable for cancelled events.

Step by step

1. Open your photo hub. From your profile, go to Photos. You’ll see a running count of every photo linked to you and a timeline of them grouped by day, with the most recent first (recent days show as Today and Yesterday). Pull down to refresh if you’re expecting new photos.

2. Narrow down what you’re looking for. Three shortcuts sit at the top of the hub:

   • Photos of Me - every event where you’ve been recognized, one card per event.
   • Favourite Albums - the albums you’ve starred.
   • Ongoing Event to which I’m connected - jump straight to an event that’s happening now.

3. Pick an event. Tapping an event card in Photos of Me opens that event’s albums, so you can go to the reception album rather than scrolling the whole event.

4. Browse an album. An album opens as a date-grouped timeline with a photo count in the header. Pull down to refresh while an event is still in progress and photographers are still uploading.

5. View a single photo. Tap any thumbnail to open it full screen. Swipe left and right to move through the album - the header tells you where you are, such as “4 of 62”. Pinch to zoom in and drag to pan around the details.

6. Save a photo. Use the download button in the photo viewer. The app prepares a download link and hands it to your browser or downloads manager, so the file lands wherever your device normally saves downloads.

7. Create an album (organizers). From an event’s Photo Albums screen, use the add button. Give the album a Name (required, and it must be different from other album names in that event), an optional Description, and a cover image if you want one. Then set who it’s for:

   • Visibility - Public, Protected, or Private.
   • Upload access - Only Me, or Anyone. Choose Anyone if you want attendees contributing their own shots.
   • Approval required - on by default, so contributed photos wait for your review before anyone else sees them.

8. Fill the album. Open the album and use Capture or Upload Media to shoot photos and videos on the spot or pick existing ones from your device. You can edit the album’s details or delete it later from the same screen; deleting is permanent and asks you to confirm first.

Troubleshooting

A high-resolution photo takes a moment to appear. Full-size images load progressively in the viewer, so you’ll see a spinner before a large shot resolves. It’s cached afterwards, so going back to it is instant. If a photo shows an error icon instead, pull down to refresh the album and try again - it usually means the request timed out rather than that the photo is gone.

A batch upload seems to stall or only some files land. Upload in smaller groups on a weak connection, and keep the app open until the batch reports finished. Anything that failed simply won’t appear in the album, so re-add just those files. If the album has Approval required turned on, contributed photos won’t show up for others until an organizer approves them - they aren’t missing, just pending.

People can’t see an album you shared. Check the album’s Visibility. Private and Protected albums are limited to you and the people you’ve granted access to; only Public albums are open to the event’s audience.

Someone can’t add photos to your album. Upload access set to Only Me blocks everyone else, even for a Public album. Switch it to Anyone if you want attendees to contribute.

You can’t find your face anywhere. “No photos yet! Attend events and get clicked” means nothing has been matched to you yet. Recognition runs after uploads, so check back later, and make sure you’re signed in with the account you registered under.

Album controls are missing. For a cancelled event, or when you’re viewing an event in a restricted capacity, album creation is turned off.
