You’re In: Sharing Your Showdown Entry

After you submit an entry to a Showdown arena, this screen confirms it landed and hands you the links you need to pull in votes. It’s for anyone who has just entered a photo, video, or reel into an event’s Showdown.

Prerequisites

You’ll need an event invitation with a Showdown arena, and a completed entry submission.

Confirming Your Entry Went Through

How to get there: Event invitation > Showdown > submit your entry

When your submission succeeds, you’ll see a trophy badge and a You’re in! message. That’s your confirmation: nothing else is needed to lock in your entry.

Below the message you’ll find two share links and, at the bottom, buttons to add another entry or return to your invitation.

Note

Your entry is saved the moment this screen appears. Closing the screen does not remove it.

Sharing Your Personal Link

Your Your personalised share link card holds the link that matters most. When someone opens it, your entry appears front and centre as the highlighted card on the arena feed, so they can vote for you without hunting through the list.

1. Find the Your personalised share link card.
2. Tap the Copy icon on the right of the card.
3. Wait for the Copied to clipboard confirmation to appear.
4. Paste the link into WhatsApp, Instagram, or your family group chat.

Tip

Send this to your closest circle first: family WhatsApp groups, your college batch group, your office team. Early votes create momentum, and people are far likelier to vote when your entry opens right in front of them instead of buried in a long feed.

Tip

You can also select the link text directly if you’d rather share only part of it or type it out somewhere manually.

Next Best Action

After copying your link, most participants:

• For a wedding or family event: Share it in the family WhatsApp group with a short line asking for votes
• For a college fest or corporate meetup: Post it to your batch or team channel, then follow up on the last day of voting

Sharing the General Arena Link

The General feed link card holds a plain link to the arena feed with no entry highlighted. Anyone who opens it sees the full leaderboard.

1. Find the General feed link card.
2. Tap the Copy icon.
3. Share it wherever you want people browsing all the entries.

Use this one for broader posts: a public Instagram story, an event announcement, or a message to the whole guest list. It’s the fair-play link when you’re the organiser or you simply want people to enjoy every entry.

Adding Another Entry

You can submit more than one entry to the same arena.

1. Tap Submit Another Entry.
2. Fill in the new entry form that opens: your details and media start fresh.
3. Submit, and you’ll land back here with a new personal link.

Caution

Each entry gets its own personal link. Keep track of which link belongs to which entry before you share, or votes may go to the wrong one.

Returning to Your Invitation

When you’re done sharing, tap Back to invitation at the bottom, or the close icon in the top-left corner. Both take you back to your event invitation, where you can view the schedule, RSVP details, and other activities.

Next Best Action

Back on your invitation, most guests:

• Before the event: Check the schedule and confirm your RSVP
• During voting: Open the arena feed to watch the leaderboard shift

Troubleshooting

“No URL is available yet. Please contact support if this persists.” - Your entry saved, but its personal share link hasn’t been generated. Share the general feed link in the meantime and contact event support if the message stays after you revisit the screen.

The copy icon changed to a tick but nothing pasted - Some browsers and keyboards block clipboard access. Select the link text on the card and copy it manually instead.

Friends open my link but don’t see my entry highlighted - You likely shared the general feed link. Copy from the Your personalised share link card instead.

My second entry’s link looks the same as my first - Check the ending of each link before sharing; they differ. Copy fresh from the screen right after each submission rather than reusing an old message.

I closed the screen before copying my link - Reopen the arena feed from your invitation and find your entry there. Your submission is safe either way.
