Category Hub

Categories let you group the booths at your event and colour-code them on your event map. Use them to keep a large floor plan readable for your team, your vendors, and your guests.

How to get there: Dashboard > your event > Booths > Categories

  1. Open the event you’re working on.
  2. Tap Booths, then open Categories.
  3. Scroll the grid to see every category you’ve created.

The number badge beside the Categories heading shows how many categories the event currently has. Each tile in the grid represents one category, with the colour it uses on your map.

  1. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Fill in the category details on the form that opens.
  3. Save to add it to your list.

  1. Find the category you want to change in the grid.
  2. Tap its tile to open it.
  3. Update the name, colour, or other details.
  4. Save your changes.

How to get there: Dashboard > your event > Booths > Categories

  1. Tap the Search categories box near the top.
  2. Type part of the category name.
  3. Tap the in the search box to clear it and see the full list again.

“No categories yet.” - This event doesn’t have any categories. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner to create your first one.

“No matching categories.” - Your search doesn’t match any category name. Check the spelling, try a shorter word, or tap the in the search box to clear it.

The list keeps spinning - The app is still fetching your categories. Check your internet connection, then close and reopen the screen if the spinner doesn’t clear.

An error message appears instead of the grid - Your categories couldn’t be loaded. Pull down to refresh, or leave the screen and come back. If it persists, sign out and sign back in.

Categories from another event are missing - Categories are per-event. Switch to the other event from your dashboard and open its Categories screen.

A new category doesn’t appear - Pull down on the grid to refresh the list.
