Vendor Dashboard: View Messages, Enquiries & Proposals

Section titled “Vendor Dashboard: View Messages, Enquiries & Proposals”

Your Vendor Dashboard is your command center as a service vendor on Velora. It shows all incoming client messages, event enquiries, and proposals in one place—so you never miss an opportunity. Whether you’re a caterer, photographer, decorator, or event planner, this is where client work flows in.

How to get there: Open in Velora → Scroll to the Messages section

Your messages section shows recent conversations with clients. This is where event organizers ask questions, confirm details, or request changes.

  1. Scroll down to see the Messages section at the top of your dashboard.
  2. Tap any message card to open the full conversation.
  3. Tap View More to see all messages (if you have more than 3 unread messages).

How to get there: Dashboard → Enquiries section

Enquiries are structured requests from event organizers. Each one includes:

  • Event type (wedding, corporate, festival, etc.)
  • Guest count or event scale
  • Budget range
  • Date and location
  • Specific requirements
  1. Scroll to the Enquiries section.
  2. Tap any enquiry card to see full details (event dates, venue, client contact info, etc.).
  3. Tap View More to expand the list and see all enquiries (if you have more than 3).
  4. Review the event details and decide if it’s a good fit for your business.

How to get there: Dashboard → Proposals section

Your proposals section shows every quote you’ve sent to clients. Each proposal has a status:

Your dashboard updates automatically, but you can also refresh manually:

  2. Watch the refresh indicator disappear once data loads.

If your dashboard is slow to load:

  1. Ensure you’re connected to WiFi or mobile data.
  2. Pull down to refresh the screen.
  3. If the error persists, close and reopen the Velora app.

“I don’t see any enquiries or messages” — You may not have received any yet, or your app needs a refresh. Try pulling down to refresh, or check if your profile is complete and visible to organizers. It can take 24–48 hours for visibility after profile creation.

“A proposal shows as Submitted but I haven’t sent it” — The status may have auto-updated after you hit Save. Open the proposal to verify the submission timestamp, or check your sent messages history.

“Messages are loading slowly” — Large files or slow internet can delay message display. Wait 10 seconds, refresh, or check your connection. In busy season, expect slight delays.

“I see a proposal is Declined but I want to reach out to the client” — You can still message them through the Messages section. Keep it professional and ask if they’d like to reschedule or if you can adjust your quote.

“View More button doesn’t work” — This usually means your app needs an update. Go to your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and check for a Velora update.
