Verifying Tickets from a QR Code Link
Section titled “Verifying Tickets from a QR Code Link”When someone shares a ticket QR code with you (or you scan one with your phone camera), this screen shows you the ticket details and helps you decide what to do next. It’s your entry point to the ticket verification system.
Understanding the Ticket Details
Section titled “Understanding the Ticket Details”How to get there: Scan or open a ticket QR code link from an event organizer.
When the ticket link opens, you’ll see a card with four pieces of information:
| Detail | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Ticket ID | The unique identifier for this ticket (shown truncated as abc123...xyz789) |
| Event Code | The code for the event this ticket belongs to |
| Format | How the ticket was encoded (QR code type) |
| Max Entries | How many times this ticket can be used to enter the venue |
Responding to Errors
Section titled “Responding to Errors”How to get there: Scan or open an invalid or incomplete ticket QR link.
If you see an error message on this screen, it means one of these happened:
“No ticket data found in the link.” — The QR code or link you scanned doesn’t contain ticket information. Ask the organizer for a valid ticket link.
“This ticket link contains invalid data.” — The ticket data is corrupted or outdated. Try scanning the QR code again, or contact the event organizer for a new link.
In both cases, tap Go to Home to return to your dashboard.
Next Steps: Verifying in the App

Returning Home
Section titled “Returning Home”How to get there: You’ve seen the ticket details or an error message.
