Welcome to Velora -- Your First Look

The first thing you see when you open Velora is the Welcome screen. It is designed to give you a quick sense of what the app is about and let you decide your next step in under ten seconds.

The Welcome screen features a colourful geometric illustration and two clear options:

  • “Plan, Connect, & Share.” — the Velora tagline that summarises the platform’s purpose: plan events, connect with your community, and share memorable experiences.
  • “All in one place. Bring your events and communities to life with Velora.” — a short description beneath the tagline.

Below the text you will find two buttons:

App launch > Welcome screen appears automatically on first open

If you have already signed in before, the app will skip this screen and take you directly to the home page. You will only see the Welcome screen again after signing out.

  1. Tap “Get Started” if you are new to Velora and need to create an account.
  2. Tap “I have an account” if you have previously signed up and want to sign in.

The Welcome screen does not appear when I open the app. You are likely already signed in from a previous session. Velora remembers your login. To see the Welcome screen, sign out from Profile > Sign Out.

The screen looks different from what I expected. Velora supports both light and dark modes. The colour scheme adapts to your device settings. If you prefer a specific mode, change it in your device display settings.

The buttons are not responding. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Velora needs a connection to load the next step. Try closing and re-opening the app.
