Invitation List
Section titled “Invitation List”The Invitation List is your command centre for all invitations tied to a specific event. From here you can search, preview, share, and edit every invitation you have created.
How to Get There
Section titled “How to Get There”Home > My Events > [Your Event] > Manage > Invitations
- Open the Velora app and go to your Event Dashboard.
- Tap Manage in the navigation menu.
- Select Invitations.
- The Invitation List screen loads showing all invitations for this event.
What You Will See
Section titled “What You Will See”Header
Section titled “Header”The top of the screen displays:
- An Invitations title with a mail icon
- A count badge showing the total number of invitations for this event
Search Bar
Section titled “Search Bar”Type in the search bar to quickly find a specific invitation by title. The search uses debounced input, so results update as you type with a slight delay to avoid unnecessary API calls.
Invitation Cards
Section titled “Invitation Cards”Each invitation appears as a card with:

Actions You Can Take
Section titled “Actions You Can Take”Create a New Invitation
Section titled “Create a New Invitation”Tap the + floating action button (bottom-right corner) to open the Create Invitation screen.
Share an Invitation
Section titled “Share an Invitation”- Tap the Share button on any invitation card.
- Velora generates personalised invitation links.
- A bottom sheet appears with copyable links.
- Tap to copy the link and share it via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any messaging app.
Edit an Invitation
Section titled “Edit an Invitation”- Tap the Edit button on the invitation card.
- The Create Invitation screen opens pre-filled with the existing data.
- Make your changes and tap Save.
- The list refreshes automatically when you return.
Preview an Invitation
Section titled “Preview an Invitation”Tap the Preview button to see exactly how the invitation appears to guests. Depending on the invitation’s view style, you will see one of three interactive previews:

| Scroll (Congratulations theme) | A scrollable single-page design with party seal |
Each preview opens in a full-screen viewer with themed audio and an envelope animation that the guest must tap to open.
Pull to Refresh
Section titled “Pull to Refresh”Swipe down on the list to refresh all invitations from the server. This is useful when another team member has created or edited an invitation.
Empty State
Section titled “Empty State”If no invitations exist for this event yet, the screen shows an empty state message encouraging you to create your first invitation.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The share button is not generating links. Check your internet connection and try again. If the error persists, the invitation may have an expired end date. Edit the invitation and extend the expiry.
Search is not returning results. The search matches invitation titles only. Make sure you are typing part of the invitation title, not the event name or guest name.
I do not see the + button to create a new invitation. The create button is hidden when the event is cancelled. Check your event status in the Event Dashboard.
The preview shows a blank screen. The invitation may not have any media uploaded. Edit the invitation and add at least one image or video.
