Committees

Committees help you organise your event team into logical groups. Whether it is a “Decorations Committee”, “Food & Catering Committee”, or “Guest Relations Committee” — each group can have its own leader, members, and scope.

Event Dashboard > Committees

  1. Open the Event Dashboard for your event.
  2. Navigate to the Committees section.
  3. The committee list loads for the current event.

The top of the screen shows:

  • “Committees” title
  • A badge showing the total count of committees

Each committee appears as a card with:

Committee NameThe name of the committee
Member CountNumber of members assigned
StatusActive or Inactive
CategoryThe committee’s focus area
LeaderThe committee leader’s name (if assigned)

Tap any committee card to view its details and members.

Tap the + button at the bottom-right to create a new committee.

Tap a committee card to see:

  • Full committee description
  • Member list with roles
  • Leader information
  • Committee visibility settings

From the committee detail view, tap the edit option to modify:

  • Committee name and description
  • Leader assignment
  • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Visibility settings
  • Categories

Pull down on the list to refresh and fetch the latest committee data.

”Error Loading Committees”Check your internet connection and pull-to-refresh. If the error persists, navigate away and come back.
No committees appearYou have not created any committees for this event yet. Tap the + button to create your first.
FAB (+) button is missingThe event may be in “Cancelled” status. Committees cannot be created for cancelled events.
Member count shows 0Members need to be added from the Create/Edit Committee screen. The count updates after you add members from your crew.
