Community Profile

The Community Profile screen is the public face of your community. It showcases your community’s identity — cover image, name, description, contact details, and tags — along with admin controls for managing visibility and status.

Home > Communities > [Your Community] > Dashboard > Profile icon/name

  1. Open the Community Dashboard for your community.
  2. Tap the community name, logo, or the profile action in the header.
  3. The Community Profile screen loads with full details.

A large cover photo spans the top of the screen, creating a visually rich profile header. Below the cover image, the community’s profile card overlays with:

  • Community name (e.g., “Rajasthan Retired Officers’ Welfare Association”)
  • Description with an expand/collapse toggle for long text

The community description appears below the name. For long descriptions:

  • A truncated preview is shown by default
  • Tap Read more to expand the full description
  • Tap Show less to collapse it back

If the community admin has provided contact details, they appear in a dedicated section:

  2. Velora sends the status change to the server.
  3. A confirmation message appears: “Community activated” or “Community deactivated”.
  4. The profile refreshes to reflect the new status.

Swipe down on the profile to reload all data from the server.

If the profile fails to load:

  • An error message appears with a Retry button
  • Tap Retry to attempt loading again
  • Check your internet connection if the error persists
