Managing Your Event Agenda on Velora

The Agenda Management page is the organizer’s tool for building and maintaining the event schedule. You can add activities (sessions, talks, performances, breaks), set their dates and times, and organize them into a day-by-day timeline. Activities are automatically grouped by date for easy viewing.

Event Organizer Page > Agenda quick-action card

Or: Event Organizer Page > Quick Actions > Agenda tile

  • Header: Shows “Event Agenda” with the total count of activities in a badge.
  • Activity List: Activities grouped by date with date headers showing the date and activity count per day.
  • Floating Action Button (FAB): A ”+” button at the bottom-right to add new activities.

The FAB is hidden when the event is in a completed, closed, or canceled state.

Activities are displayed in a scrollable list, grouped under date headers.

Each date section shows:

  • The formatted date.
  • The number of activities scheduled for that date.

Each card displays:

  • Activity name and description.
  • Start and end time.
  • A Live badge when the activity is currently in progress.
  • Additional context like the event code.
  1. Open the Agenda Management page from the Event Organizer page.
  2. Scroll through the date-grouped list to see all activities.
  3. Tap any activity card to view its full details.

  1. Tap the + floating action button (bottom-right corner).
  2. Fill in the activity details: name, description, start time, end time, and any additional settings.
  3. Save the activity.
  4. The agenda list automatically refreshes to show the new activity.

  1. Tap an activity card from the list.
  2. View the activity details on the detail page.
  3. Make your edits (name, times, description).
  4. Save changes.
  5. The agenda list refreshes automatically.

Activities can show a Live indicator when the current time falls within the activity’s scheduled start and end times. This is calculated automatically.

  • Pull to refresh: Swipe down on the activity list to reload from the server.
  • Auto-refresh: The list refreshes automatically when you return from adding or editing an activity.
  • Provider-based refresh: Changes made in other parts of the app (e.g., from the Agenda quick-action) trigger an automatic refresh via the agendaRefreshProvider.

A centered progress indicator appears while activities are being fetched.

When no activities exist: “No Activities Found — There are no activities scheduled for this event yet.” The FAB is still available to create the first activity.

An error message with a Retry button appears when the API call fails. Tap Retry to try again.

The add button is hidden for events in completed, closed, or canceled states. If your event is active and the button is missing, scroll down to ensure it is not hidden behind content.

The agenda auto-refreshes when you return from the add screen. If activities still do not appear, pull down to refresh the list manually.

Check the start date and time of the activity. Activities are grouped by their start date. If an activity spans midnight, it will appear under the date of its start time.

Tap the activity card to open its detail view. Edit options should be available on the detail page. If the event is canceled, editing may be disabled.

This typically indicates a network issue. Check your internet connection and tap Retry. If the error persists, navigate back and re-enter the agenda page.
