Task Operations Report

This screen gives you a complete overview of all tasks across your event — how many are done, what’s overdue, which vendors need follow-ups, and which tasks are blocking other work. Use it to stay on top of deadlines and catch bottlenecks before they spiral.

How to get there: Dashboard > Task & Operations Report

Your task report opens with a snapshot of key numbers at the top:

  1. Scroll to the top of the report
  2. Look at the KPI cards — these show total tasks, completed tasks, overdue items, and tasks by priority
  3. Read the numbers to understand your workload at a glance

The two charts below the summary show your task breakdown:

  1. Scroll down slightly below the KPI cards
  2. View the Status chart (left) — shows how many tasks are pending, in progress, or done
  3. View the Priority chart (right) — shows distribution across high, medium, and low priority
  4. On mobile, these appear one below the other; on larger screens they’re side by side
  1. Scroll down to the Filter section
  2. Use the filter options to narrow tasks by:
    • Status (Pending, In Progress, Done)
    • Priority (High, Medium, Low)
    • Assigned person
    • Task type (vendor, decoration, catering, etc.)
  3. Tap Apply or selections auto-filter in real time

How to get there: Dashboard > Task & Operations Report > Scroll to task list

Once you’ve filtered (or chosen not to):

  1. View tasks as a card list (mobile) or detailed grid (desktop)
  2. Each task shows: name, assignee, status, priority, and due date
  3. Tap a task card to see more details or update progress
  4. Swipe (mobile) or use action buttons to mark complete, reassign, or delete

If you have many tasks:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the list
  2. Use the pagination controls to:
    • Go to the next or previous page
    • Jump to a specific page number
    • Change how many tasks appear per page
  3. Your filters and view persist as you page through
  1. Scroll up to the top of the report
  2. Pull down on your screen (like refreshing social media)
  3. Wait for the spinner to finish — your task data updates with any recent changes from your team

“No tasks found” — This appears when all tasks are done or filters hide them all. Check your filters (click Clear Filters) or add new tasks if your event truly has nothing left to do.

“Tasks aren’t updating” — Pull down to refresh manually. If still missing, check that your team members have saved their changes. It can take a few seconds to sync.

Charts show zero values — This happens early in event planning when most tasks haven’t been categorized yet. As you add and assign tasks, the charts populate automatically.

Can’t see a task I know exists — It might be assigned to someone else or filtered out. Clear all filters and search by assignee name or task type to locate it.

Page is slow with 200+ tasks — Try filtering by status (show only pending or in progress) or by person. Fewer tasks on screen = faster loading.

Pagination controls missing — You have fewer tasks than your page size allows. Lower the page size limit if you want to paginate.
