Events Policy Overview

Review and Accept Terms & Policies

Velora Events occasionally updates its Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy to keep your data safe and improve your experience. This screen lets you review what’s changed and accept the updated policies before continuing to use the app.

Prerequisites

You’ll need an active Velora Events account. This screen appears automatically when policies are updated.

Review the Updated Policies

How to get there: You’ll see this screen automatically when you open Velora Events after a policy update.

1. Read the introductory message at the top of the screen - it explains why the update happened.
2. Scroll down to see the available policy documents.
3. Tap Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy to open and read the full text.
4. Scroll through the policy document to review all the changes.
5. Tap the X icon to close the policy dialog and return to the main screen.

Pro Tip

If you need to reference a policy later, you can usually find it in your account settings under “Terms & Policies” or contact Velora support for a copy.

Accept the Policies and Continue

How to get there: After reviewing the policies, return to the Terms & Policies screen.

1. Check the checkbox next to “I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.”
   • The checkbox changes color when selected.
   • The Accept & Continue button becomes active (turns blue).
2. Tap Accept & Continue to submit your agreement.
3. Wait for the confirmation - you’ll see a brief loading animation.
4. Once accepted, you’ll return to your dashboard and can continue using Velora Events.

Can’t Skip This Step

You must accept the updated policies to use the app. If you exit without accepting, you’ll be asked to agree the next time you open Velora Events. There’s no way to bypass this requirement.

Next Best Action

After accepting the policies, most organizers:

• Planning an event: Create your first event
• Managing an existing event: Add guests to your event
• Setting up payments: Create and manage ticket batches

If You Want to Exit Without Accepting

How to get there: Press the back button or use your device’s back gesture while on the Terms & Policies screen.

1. A confirmation dialog appears asking if you’re sure you want to exit.
2. Tap Exit to leave the screen without accepting (not recommended).
3. Tap Stay on Page to return and complete your acceptance.

Important

Exiting without accepting policies means you won’t be able to access Velora Events until you accept them. You’ll be prompted again the next time you open the app.

Troubleshooting

“Error loading policies”: The app couldn’t fetch the policy documents. Check your internet connection and tap Retry to reload them.

The Accept button is grayed out: You haven’t checked the agreement checkbox yet. Tap the checkbox to enable the button.

Page won’t let me go back: This is intentional - you must accept or exit through the confirmation dialog. Tap the back button again and choose your action in the dialog.

I accepted but still see the policy screen: The acceptance is still being saved. Wait for the loading animation to complete before navigating away.
