Create Community Intro

This is your first step in creating a thriving community on Velora Events. Here, you’ll see an inspiring visual introduction and get ready to define what makes your community unique - whether it’s a hobby club, professional network, college fest group, or wedding planning circle.

How to get there: Tap Create Community from your Velora dashboard or profile menu.

When you arrive at this screen, you’ll see:

  • A dynamic visual hub with orbiting icons representing different types of communities and activities
  • “Let’s make it.” headline: an encouraging prompt to begin your community journey
  • A glowing arrow button at the center-bottom ready for you to tap
  • A back button in the top-left to return to the previous screen

The orbiting icons represent the variety of communities you can create: music groups, sports teams, creative collectives, networking circles, and more.

How to get there: Already on the Community Welcome screen.

The main action on this screen is simple:

  1. Tap the glowing circular arrow button labeled TAP TO CONTINUE at the center-bottom of the screen.
  2. You’ll be taken to the Category Selection screen, where you’ll choose what type of community you’re creating.
  3. Haptic feedback (a light vibration) confirms your tap.

That’s it - no forms to fill, no decisions to make yet. This screen is purely about getting you excited and ready to move forward.

If you tap the back arrow button in the top-left:

  1. You’ll return to your previous screen (usually your dashboard)
  2. Any unsaved community details will be cleared
  3. You can start the community creation process again anytime

There’s no penalty for going back - communities aren’t created until you’ve completed the full setup flow.

This screen does three things:

  1. Sets the tone: Communities are about connection and creativity, which the dynamic design reflects
  2. Prepares you mentally: Gives you a moment to think about your community’s purpose before diving into details
  3. Gets you excited: The visual energy makes community creation feel accessible and fun, not like a tedious form

Whether you’re organizing a Diwali celebration group, a wedding planning circle, a college fest committee, or a professional network, this welcome screen is your signal that you’re about to create something meaningful.

“Back button isn’t working”: Ensure you’re not on the first screen of the app. If the button is disabled, try restarting Velora or checking your navigation settings.

“The Continue button won’t respond”: Try tapping directly on the glowing arrow icon. If it still doesn’t work, check your internet connection and refresh the app.

“I went back and lost my community details”: Velora clears draft communities when you navigate away from the creation flow. Next time, complete the entire setup in one session. You can edit community details anytime after creation.
