Community Hierarchy

See how your community or group is organized into chapters, wings, and sub-groups. This screen shows you the full structure of members and teams, so you can understand who belongs where and coordinate across different branches of your community.

How to get there: Community Management > Community Hierarchy

The Community Hierarchy screen opens with your organization’s full structure displayed as an interactive tree. You’ll see:

  • Root community (your main organization) at the top with total member count
  • Chapters and divisions branching below, like regional offices or functional wings
  • Sub-groups nested deeper, such as healthcare wings, cultural committees, or legal aid cells

Each entry shows:

  • Name of the group or chapter
  • Description of what it does
  • Member count in parentheses
  • Number of sub-groups (if it has branches)

How to get there: Community Management > Community Hierarchy

  1. Tap any group card to expand it and see all sub-groups nested below
  2. Watch the chevron icon rotate right-to-down as the group opens
  3. Tap again to collapse and hide its members

The structure animates smoothly, so you can drill down layer by layer to explore specific branches (for example, tap “Bhilwara Chapter” → “Healthcare Wing” → “Yoga & Wellness”).

How to get there: Community Management > Community Hierarchy

  • Scroll down to see chapters and sub-groups that extend below the screen
  • Scroll left/right if deeply nested groups need extra space
  • Groups are indented slightly, so you can see hierarchy depth at a glance

How to get there: Community Management > Community Hierarchy

  1. Tap the Refresh icon (circular arrow) in the top-right corner
  2. Wait a moment while the system reloads the latest membership and organizational changes
  3. The hierarchy updates with any new chapters, wings, or member counts from your backend

If the screen shows a loading spinner:

  • The app is fetching your latest organizational data from the server
  • This usually takes less than a second

If you see an error message instead:

  • “Failed to load hierarchy”: The app couldn’t reach the server. Tap Retry to try again, or check your internet connection.

“The hierarchy loads but shows incomplete data”: A sync may be in progress. Refresh using the Refresh button. If some chapters still don’t appear, ask your administrator to verify they’re included in your organization’s backend.

“I don’t see all sub-groups under a chapter”: Tap the chapter card to expand it fully. Some groups collapse by default if they’re very large. Scroll down to ensure you’re seeing all nested levels.

“The app is frozen while loading”: Force quit and reopen the app. If it persists, check your internet connection and try the Retry button.
