Community Dashboard

Your Community Dashboard is the main hub where you connect with your community members, celebrate milestones, and organize events together. Whether you’re managing a wedding guest list, coordinating a Diwali celebration, or running a college fest, this is where all the action happens.

How to get there: Open Velora > Select your community

This is your entry point. The dashboard automatically loads your community’s key information:

  1. Tap your community name at the top to see the full title and description
  2. Scroll down to see new members who’ve joined recently
  3. Review upcoming events listed in the Events section
  4. Check the monthly timeline for celebrations and milestones

How to get there: Community Dashboard > Share button (top right)

Invite others to join your community without manually sending individual links.

  1. Tap the Share button (arrow icon in the top-right corner)
  2. The system fetches your community’s shareable link
  3. Choose your sharing method: WhatsApp, email, SMS, or copy the link
  4. Send to friends, family, or colleagues

How to get there: Community Dashboard > menu (top right)

Manage who’s in your community and update community details.

  1. Tap the three-dot menu button
  2. Select View Members to see everyone in your community
  3. Or select Community Info to update the description, logo, or other details

How to get there: Community Dashboard > Sub-Communities section

Organize large communities into smaller groups (e.g., “Groom’s Family”, “Bride’s Side”, “College Batch A”).

  1. Scroll to the Sub-Communities section
  2. Tap View All to see the complete list
  3. Tap + Create to add a new sub-community
  4. Enter the sub-community name and description
  5. Tap Save

To navigate into a sub-community’s dashboard, tap its card to see its events and members.

See the next three upcoming events at a glance, or view your full calendar.

  1. Scroll to the Events card
  2. View event details: name, date, and location
  3. Tap an event card to open Event Details (RSVP count, guest list, location map)
  4. Tap View All to see every event this community has planned

How to get there: Community Dashboard > Events section > + button

Two ways to create:

From scratch:

  1. Tap the + icon in the Events card
  2. Select Create from Scratch
  3. Fill in event name, date, time, and location
  4. Add description and customize
  5. Tap Save

Using AI (faster):

  1. Tap the + icon
  2. Select Create with AI
  3. Describe your event (e.g., “Diwali dinner party, 50 people, home delivery of sweets”)
  4. AI generates a draft with timeline and tasks
  5. Review and adjust, then save

Your community’s birthdays are shown in a dedicated card with the month’s celebrations.

  1. Review the Birthday Template Card for upcoming member birthdays
  2. Tap to see individual member details or send a birthday message
  3. Create a birthday event or group celebration if desired

“Community not loading” — Check your internet connection and try refreshing (pull down). If it persists, close and reopen the app.

“Can’t see new members” — They may not have confirmed their membership yet. Refresh the dashboard or send them a direct invite link.

“Events aren’t showing” — Events need a start date to appear. Create one and check that the date is set correctly. Pull down to refresh.

“Share button not working” — Ensure you have an internet connection and that your community data has fully loaded. Try again after refreshing.

“Sub-community won’t save” — Name and description are required. Make sure both fields have text, then try again.
